Fuwa Fuwa

This is a fun and heart-warming story about cats by renowned author Haruki Murakami. It's short and sweet, with cute illustrations as well. If you are a relatively upper-intermediate Japanese student or higher, this would be a great first Japanese book for you to read. More entertaining than textbooks, and less daunting than a novel, a book like this is the perfect way to practice and enjoy reading in Japanese.
