Resurrection

In the third novel in the New York Times bestselling series that started with EXTINCTION, Cash and Colcord investigate a puzzling and shocking series of killings outside a resort town—the Neanders are back! A billionaire and his wife are murdered in their mansion outside Vail, Colorado, and their daughter kidnapped by Neanderthals resurrected in a genetic experiment. Cash and Colcord team up with FBI Special Agent Makoto Ota to take charge of the investigation. While Ota ruthlessly pursues the Neanders through a vast and deep network of abandoned mines, the Vail summer season goes into full swing. Meanwhile, a series of brutal but apparently unconnected killings take place outside the resort town, until Cash and Colcord realize the Neanders have a mysterious and ancient weapon, an ingenious plan—and a most unexpected target.
