Final Crisis cascaded terror and destruction through the multiverse, with countless lives lost in the process. Among the victims was the Dark Knight himself, Batman. Struck with an Omega Beam blast from Darkseid, Batman perished... but only seemingly. In truth, he was thrown back in time, spiraling through ages with no way to get back home. When it comes to time-traveling rescue mission, only one man has the skills to get the job done : Rip Hunter. As the Time Master, Hunter protects the timestream, ensuring that history does not undo itself. Realizing that the world needs Bruce Wayne, Hunter is enlisting some help to track him down - namely Superman, Green Lantern and Booster Gold ! As they chase the missing Batman through time, they must be carful not to disturb the timestream, which is hard to do when danger lurks behind every corner ! It's a race against the clock to find Batman before they are lost in time forever !
